Collaborations and Kindness

From simple beginnings and collaborations with many organizations and individuals along the way, in 2011 Centro Maya Project (CMP) was recognized as a non-profit, tax- exempt charitable organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. As permitted by law, all donations to Centro Maya Project are fully tax-deductible. The ripples from people connecting with people continues to change lives.

Centro Maya Project currently partners with the following organizations:

• Blessings International provides medication assistance
• Habitat Health provides used hearing aids
• GN ReSound provides new hearing aids
• Spanish Language School provides volunteers

Bringing Hope

Today, Centro Maya Project provides hope with humanitarian, educational, and medical assistance. It focuses primarily on helping families with disabled children, single mothers, grandparents raising grandchildren, and assisting with emergency medical care. These services are delivered primarily by volunteer professionals who work in space provided at no cost to Centro Maya Project by local organizations and individuals; therefore, a small budget can deliver a multitude of high quality services. Based on respectful relationships, Centro Maya Project has incubated friendships and deepened connections, despite boundaries of language, culture and national borders.
